Hands on Hips
Tax deductible contributions to Hands on Hips may be sent to the address on the web page, or through the Pay Pal link there. Kilim rugs woven by students at the weaving school are also available for purchase here. Another way to support the Kilim Women projects is to buy something-- such as a mug, T-shirt or other product from the Hands on Hips shop at Cafe Press. Berkat
Donations to Czech non-profits are usually made through bank transfers into the organization's bank account. Berkat account numbers for its projects are listed here, and its accounts are with the internet bank, ebanka. I am looking into the possibility of making donations in a form more familiar in the US, possibly through the Czech Embassy in Washington DC or through a larger Czech non-profit. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.
